Call of Duty 2 HELP

Right, last night I was playing on Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer till about 8pm...

It was working how it should as it always has right since the install on Christmas day.

I then went onto Call of Duty United Offensive Multiplayer from 8pm till 11pm...

Again that was working correctly how it should and how it has been doing since the install last summer.

My brother was on his PC last night and was playing on Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer all night, again working how it should be and has been since the install about a month ago (we bought another copy so we could play together)

This morning I got up and my brother COULDNT connect to ANY server on CoD2 Multiplayer.

It says "WAITING FOR RESPONSE FROM MASTER SERVER"

So I came onto my PC and tried refreshing the server list and it said that message for me too.

I went onto CoD UO Multiplayer and it also said that message.

My firewall has the rule..."permit all" for CoD2 MP and CoD UO MP
This is the rule is has had since the installs and has been working fine.

What could be the problem here? My Internet Service Provider?

there could have been a problem with the connection from your pc to the master server, give it time and try again

Will do.

It also seems anything associated with Activision e.g. Activision website and Call of Duty website will not load up for me.

Try rebooting your modem/router. To do that just unplug the power for 10 seconds then let it load back up.

Its working now!

I switched the router off for the duration of my shower, switched it on, came on PC, enabled Internet and refreshed server list and its working

The only thing now is that it is picking up around 3000 servers, Im happy that its working but last night there were around 6000 servers on the list.
