Call of Duty 3 for the PC..? When?

im getting a bit bored of "army" games but i love the call of duties! would be a great shame to see them go to console only!

i think microshaft (xbox 360) and games companies are teaming up to take away the games for PCs... unfare, what am i going to do with my 7900gto when i get it.. i mean like, no whay is it going to run mine sweeper and solitare!

Your graphics card you currently have lmao, I had that card like 5 years ago.

It didn't even run SOF2, don't think it was opengl lol.
 
harder to make copies and you can sell the games for 2X the price

easy to see why they make console only versions of games.

Also less hassle to update as there are no whiners saying it doesn't run on my [insert pc part here] specced machine.

I can see why they do it. I hate it and wish it wasn't so but there you have it.

Piracy of PS2, 360 games etc is just as easy as doing it for PC.

Google it up.

They are stupid though, considering COD 2 is one of the top fps games on PC, hugely popular and made them big bucks.

?? just as easy? i dont remeber that to copy a PC game you have to open up your DVDRW and stop a disk mid spin? It can be done but loads or peolpe cannot be bothered also a copied game will not play on a XBOX 360 it has to be modded which will then get banned on live. As IMO Live is one of the main reasons for getting a 360 its not worth saving the 20 quid a pop for a legit game....

That card was good in it's day. I had the Ultra version, which was clocked slightly higher, and it ran COD1 fine.
I also had a non-ultra at work and we used to play Quake 2 and 3 which were OpenGL.

I can't see it running any games from the last 3 years or more as it doesn't have hardware T&L let alone pixel shaders.
 
I saw on the TV today a clip of an army game, and below it said, actual xbox 360 gameplay footage...

I was saying to myself, please don't be Call of Duty 3, please don't be Call of Duty 3...

and it was, I was like :mad: It looks sooooooo good
 
If COD 3 is anything like COD2 then, imo, the consoles can keep it. Really didn't like 2 at all, infact I wasn't keen on the original expansion. Take it back to how it was with the original :(

Im not getting into it. But it can be done easily on the 360, with a mod chip. Same for PS2. Theres a boot disc you can get. Anyway my games are legit and bought before you start accusing.

And uh, I use a 360 enough since a friend has one. Play multiplayer. Same for PS2. I have an online account etc, but I've played it online once ever. Consoles are great for multiplayer as in say fight night round 3 two player.

360 games prices are a joke £50 is extortion to the max, when you get lets say GRAW on the PC for £20-25 and the 360 version for £50. Thats all that needs to be said. Same goes for PS3 when it comes out the games will probly even hit £60. PS2 games are still £30 new and thats been out for years.

Buying a 360 game for £50 is ridiculous, and to what? make Bill gates wallet even fatter.
