As title really, i have call of duty 4 on ps3 and everytime i name one of my custom created classes, it doesnt save the name.

it will save for the duration the ps3 is on aftert i have saved, but when i turn off and turn on again the names are gone.

im rank 34 currently and have had this problem since obtaining the create a class option.

anyone have any ideas?

cheers

glad to hear other people are having the same problems, well, not in that way but its nice to know your not alone lol,

could this be down to the ps3 clearing tempory data or something along those lines?

i have a flatmate with a 360 and he doesnt have this issue

It's just a flaw in the PS3 version of the game, nothing to do with the PS3.

Does turning off auto aim have any advantages?

I do hate it when it auto tracks a bloke mind you

Auto aim is only for SP, you press the sight button and it aims for the head, so it gets turned off.

One thing I have noticed, in both SP and MP (regardless of not having auto aim set), is the tracking you mention - it really really sucks, badly.

I think the way it works is by trying to predict the path a target is going to take, resulting in some really dubious control, or lack of imo.

I was playing SP the other night and an enemy bloke came running in front of me but stopped, the track/aim assist/whatever decided to move my cross hair from where I pointed it (on the target), to where it thought he was going to run; resulting in me getting killed.

Not happy about this 'feature' and wish it could be turned off :(

Scort.

Yeah there is no auto aim online, but as said sometimes it seems to just track someone its rather annoying when it happens as its normally never even right and just pulls your aim from where you want it really, but it just seems to happen now and again for me not all the time, very weird.

That is auto aim, but not the snap-to-head feature of the single player game. The joysticks are far too imprecise to play without auto aim in an FPS game.

On most occasions, when your in the lobby, if you circle out back to the screen where you select Play Online the class names return, althouigh on occasions this doesnt work either :(
