Call Of Duty Black Ops - Ill Effects?

No way to turn off motion blur that I can see.
Anyhow, after a further half dozen death loops I managed to get past where I was stuck to a checkpoint. What's annoying still though is the next Checkpoint was about 3 steps later - grrrr.
