It really does. Schnitzer and Hamann were nice about 10 years ago, but now all their stuff looks hideous and OTT.

Some sort of 1 series coupe? He'll see it as a nice looking BMW, lighter so it might handle a bit better and the power will go further due to it being smaller than his 3?
130i or something if it's in budget?
Otherwise if he's only willing to stay BMW and can't get insured on an M car he'll be begging for another change in a year or so and then it's more money wasted.

They dont do a 130i Coupe? The biggest N/A 1 Series Coupe is the 125i.

It was a suggestion more than advice. 125i might do then, or a 130i hatch?
How about a 123d with a remap, faster than an M5 I heard (something to do with the torque (at the wheels...) right Fox?)
Some people called aeroplanes trees as well, they are about as correct. There is no way anyone could even begin to argue that the E81 (The 3 door hatch) is a Coupe, given that:
a) There already exists in the 1 Series range another bodystyle that actually IS called Coupe
b) It's a 3 door hatchback with an almost vertical sloping rear hatch!
A workmate keeps referring to his Volvo c30 as a coupe

He dont like the look of 1 series, i think it really is a 330 he wants, although he was looking at 5 series earlier.
