cameras as hand luggage

really need a quick reply on this one, flying out skiing in a few hours, is it ok to take my d50 as hand luggage and just pack some jumpers around it? or will I have to check it in? it it better to take the lens off or keep it on?

you can take whatever in handluggage upto 7kg aslong as its not liquid over 100ml or flamable

certain foods are usually not allowed either

I wouldn't dare put it in the hold. You'll have no trouble taking it as hand luggage.

just got back from kenya with no porblems in the hand luggage. however my bag was always picked on after it went through the xray machines.
