AMD's HD3D differs from NVIDIA's in that AMD only supply the GPU. NVIDIA have a bundled solution, providing their drivers and stereoscopic glasses, with pre-HDMI 1.4a displays using a proprietary DVI connection. Now that HDMI 1.4a is here, AMD users pick from IZ3D or DDD TripleDef driver, and pick a HDMI 1.4a panel & compatible glasses.

You see many more nvidia monitors and kits etc. You can use iz3d on nvidia cards aswell making them better supported.
well its possible to use amd 3d on tv's , but is it possible to use it on 3d monitors?
