I didn't know that the built-in tv mechanism in my gf's bed had a maximum height longer than the aerial cable, and subsequently had the entire coaxial socket ripped from the back of the tv.
The tv works, but obviously the tuner gets no signal.
Obvious answer is to get a scart or hdmi based freeview box and use that instead, but I can't seem to find a decent one for cheap.
Don't need PVR functions, which most better rated boxes have, but this means the price is clocking £80+.
The cheaper stuff I can find around £30-£40 (August brand) seem to have issues with having to re-tune frequently, which sucks.
Needs to be aerial based freeview, as flats don't have freesat, and internet connection is too slow for streaming services.
