Can anyone tell me why am finding different model numbers for the "Sony NWZW252" online?

Hi there, I'm sure I read somewhere that the old version of this mp3 player broke with sweat but the new model is ok, but when searching online am finding this mp3 player with 3 model numbers and dont know which is the newest one and also whats the difference between all three?

The model numbers I've found are: "NWZW252B.CEW", "NWZ W252" and "NWZ W252B W".

I just dont want to make a mistake and really want this mp3 player for gym.

Well I'd hazard a guess the B and W, refers to black or white colour. The .cew is interesting though. I think it's the manufacturers code.

also possible its a retailers choice to prevent price matching , the same product with an extra letter stuck on the end so its " a different product".

CEW im guessing is Central Europe White or just a CE mark
