I am on the 8meg/512up, I'd like to make it 8down/1up, you reckon they can do it for me? I am gonna give them a call tomorrow but just wanted to know if anyone has done it here.

All their kit is set up for that standard packages and they really won't be arsed to do it. If they do they'll say "sure" and then probably just dump you on SDSL and charge you bum-loads. Why do you need 1meg up anyway?

1meg up is great, can send files faster over msn, icq and the like

host webserver

email server

ftp

ventrilo/teamspeak servers

cs servers

etc etc

Why I'm getting adsl2+ with 1.3meg upload from Be next month.

You cant, just wait for ADSL2+...should be avalible to existing customers at the end of April with 1+meg up :)

Source? I find it hard to believe that Bulldog will have LLU'd every exchange in the country by then. Without LLU there is no ADSL2+.

24meg, not that would be a lot of money wasted on extra hard disks :D But on normal adsl, what is the maximum upload limit? Surely it can't be 512.

ADSL will do up to 1Mbps upload.
ADSL2+ in this country's limited to about the same (though Be are playing with a slightly different version - AKA Annexe M - that gives them more). IIRC the technical limit's 3.5Mbps with Annexe M.
