Can I go from this to this?

Cain I change my ram from 12800 to 14400 or higher and would I notice a difference? All on an asus p8p67 motherboard with 2500k o/c to 4.6.
Or can you advise me on best ram to get, I want/need more, photoshop and things

You can change it (so long as all the RAM sticks you are using are able to run at this speed). As for performance difference, there will be an increase - but it will be tiny (have a look here - photoshop is the second test down).

If you need 8GB, I would go with this kit.

If you do a straight swap, no.

However, if you keep your existing 2x2GB kit installed as well as the new 2x4GB kit then that will put more strain on the memory controller on the CPU - so you would likely have to redo your overclock a bit to get it fully stable.

Decided to just change the 2 x 2gb sticks to 2 x 4gb sticks. good idea?

If you mainly play games (and judging by your rig I assume you do) then going from 4GB to 8GB isn't going to really make any difference.

If you do a fair bit of photoshop, you are running into memory limits and you have a heavily clocked SB system then I reckon this is the best option.
