As title, can I just snip the wires that run up to the LEDs in each corner of my 120mm fan to stop them, without it breaking the fan? Bright Blue room is not really my thing...

I guess it would be ok, you would imagine that the fan would continue to work if the bulb/led was broken. If it doesn't work you could just reconnect the wires to cut the leds out of the circuit.

If you cut the wires just join them up again but may be best to put in a small resistance which will give a voltage drop of about 2V in place of each LED in order to simulate it's presence in the circuit without the blue glow.

Are they Antec fans, just out of curiosity?

cutting the wires that go from the fan's motor to the LEDs is fine..

I did this the other day (to put the LED's on a separate line to the fan motor, in order to 7V the fan but keep the LED's bright).
