Can I Network my old pc to my Mac?

Seeing as I cant depart from my PC, but can short out of the way, can I Network the two wirelessly?
I have Linksys Pci built into the PC...

Also if I do this I have Vista on duel boot, would I have to go thru the procedure again for this via the windows stuff?

yeah best idea, is to set up MS remote desktop on the mac.
That way you can use your mac to control your PC XP or VISTA

when you are on your PC share the folders you want in XP, if you want to share the same folders in vista just make sure you do the settings on xp and vista and make them the same, this makes it easier to manage.

but other that that you just need a network cable, or router, OR wireless dongle for the PC

Edit - also i would set the IP to be the same on xp and vista, shouldnt be a problem since you wont be using them both at the same time
