Can i output to 3 displays on GTX580?

my point is IF nvidia put Displayport on their card, it can also work the same way as ATI's cards.

this is the beauty of displayports, and all latest nvidia GPU supports them, it's just a matter of having the port.

580gtx aka 485gtx only supports 2monitors.

Either wait for 6970
Get a 470SLi, which will beat it in performance.
Or 460sli which will equal it.

Ive already ordered the 580, i dont need to display to all 3 at a time, 2 at a time is fine.

Maybe just me, but I don't see what the big deal is with needing another card to run surround, as I would rather run games on 1 monitor on max settings than 3 on low settings.
I must be missing the point somehow.
