Can i put 3600 Ram in motherboard that says max 3200?

1866/ 2133/ 2400/ 2667Mhz (by JEDEC)
2667/ 2800/ 2933/ 3000/ 3066/ 3200/ 3466 MHz (by A-XMP OC MODE)

that what it says on my MB, but i bought 3600 ram by mistake and i wondered if it will still work in my pc
as i dont want to damage anything.

the Ram is Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G36C16U4R 3600 MHz, DDR4,
i have B450-A PRO

It will be fine

The RAM will run at the maximum speed the motherboard specifies.

If you have one of the later ryzen CPUs like 3000 series + then it should work fine running at 3600mhz but if you are on 1000/2000 you may have to manually set the speed to 3200 if it gives you problems with D.O.C.P

Your board will probably set it at 2667 when you first boot up anyway.

ok thanks very much for that, i will check it out more. but seams to work ok. is there any software i can use that will tell me what speeds it running at ?

You don't need any on windows, just look at performance tab in task manager
