Will an Amd A10 Kavari run VR ?


Mobo is Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2 AMD A68 Chipset (Socket FM2+) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard

Cpu is AMD Kaveri A10-7870K 12 Compute Core APU w/ Radeon R7 Graphics (4 CPU + 8 GPU Compute Cores)

Mem is Team Group Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel

If you have it already teamed with a decent card then it does work, I ran the Vive on with a 7850K and an RX480 for a while.
Moving to an Ivybridge-E 6 core wiped the floor with it though.

If you were buying this CPU now though, just don't! :)

It's my brother's system, he doesn't have a GPU for it, so would he need to add a GPU ? would the onboard not work? if he had to build a new system, what would be the cheapest option?
