Can I use an anti trojan program like ewido as well as an anti virus program like norton. I have heard a lot of people recommending ewido for preventing trojans and wondered if an anti trojan and anti virus are different things and if they can be used together

yes they are different things and yes you can use them together -

The main advice is not to use 2 antivirus products on the same system as they can conflict.

Also in my experience - there is no "one" piece of software that will keep you pc free of trojans/spyware - you are better off having 2 or 3 pieces of anti spyware software on your pc.

Ewido rox!

There is a compatability list on the website but I have never had any problems, Ewido plays nicely with most antivirus and firewalls programs.
