Can i use my Lappie as a Media Extender?

Hi

I was wondering how i would go about adding my laptop as a Media Extender to my main media PC which has all my dvd's and music on it?

Anyone got any idea's

Thanks for the reply but it didnt work , basically my Media Pc as software on it called My movies which gives me all of my DVD's, I want to be able to connect to the Media pc the same sort of way that my xbox 360 does so i can then watch all the dvd's that are on my media pc on my lappie.

Can i do this?
