I have my Q6600 watercooled,it's the kit that came with the Thermaltake Armor LCS case.

I plan on getting a 2500k,can I use this kit?I guess I will have to buy a new water block, any recommendations? Will I need anything else?

Edit-Oops wrong section, can a moderator move this to watercooling please? :)

get 'proper' watercooling ;)

As long as the mounting's correct, a 2500k should be fine with that, as I'd expect the Q6600 to run around the same/higher temperatures.

You mean material or parts?Sorry I am clueless :)

Well there's the tank, pump, cpu block and the thing that acts like a fridge (forgot it's name lol).

Martini-You mean that I won't even have to buy a cpu block?

Fridge as in Radiator?

If the CPU block has the correct mountings then it'll work with the new CPU. However I doubt it.

I'd say get "proper" watercooling too. Thermaltake isn't something I'd recommend or buy for watercooling. However seeing as you already have it, if you can get the CPU block to work or find a correct fitting then use it. It may be better than a decent heatsink.
