Can I use Paypal for a one off payment?

Hi,
Not using Paypal much im not sure about this.

I have an account with no accounts attatched to it. Is it possible to use it to send money from a credit card for just a one off?

So it would be as if I was paying on a website, just enter your card details and that's it?

Q - How do I send a credit card payment?

A - If you have a PayPal account, you can choose to use your credit card as your funding source when you send money. If there is enough money in your PayPal balance to cover the payment, your credit card may not be a funding option for that payment.

Here's how:

1. Click the Send Money tab
2. Enter the required information.
3. Click Continue
4. Click the More Funding Options link under the Source of Funds heading.
5. Select the Credit Card radio button
6. Click Continue
7. Review the information and click Send Money to complete your transaction

I don't know if the card account needs to be attached to the paypal account for it to be listed or not though.
