Can ipad use a usb 3g stick?

If ipad is jail broken can it use a usb 3g stick to connect to net ?

no im sure thye dont as they need software to install, at least i tried with my vodafone one, i use mywi and tether it to iphone..

I'd imagine the iPad is much like all smartphones, in that it can only act as a USB "client", not a "host". (Don't know what the official terminology is but you get the idea

Ipad doesn't have USB port.

But you get the adapter that plugs In with USB hence people expect such ie mass storage etc

you just install my wi and enable it ,, it basically turns your phone in to a router so all you do is open wireless setting on ipad and look for phone.. its done..

you can add wep etc .. but if you only doing it quick out n about i dont bother.. takes about 10 seconds to turn them both on/off
