Can ping websites but can't access internet

Hi guys, i'm typing this on my laptop because my desktop seems to be exhibiting some problems.

- No software at all can access the internet.
- I can ping websites using cmd and I get replies as normal.
- This happens on my windows and Linux partitions
- I use a USB dongle which seems to be working fine.
- It worked this morning.

What could be the cause of this? I took my PC out of sleep mode when I got back home this morning and it's no longer worker.

Well herp de derp. Restarting the router fixed it.
