Can Plex stream HD audio from Blu-ray?

I have all my Blu-ray backed up and mostly in MkV format.. I notice when I stream from Plex via my HTC to Plex on my nvidia shield my Yamaha A3050 just displays PCM while the movie is playing.

Am guessing it's not possible to "stream" these HD audio codecs via Plex? And it is some how downscaling?

If so, do you know of another streaming way with full original quality that will display movie posters?

How come my amp just displays PCM then and not DTS HD or True HD etc?

Just to be clear am on about streaming these HD audio tracks via Ethernet cable via my home network
