Can some more intelligent individuals double check my next OcUK purchase for flaws?

Being an unlucky fellow I tend to buy stuff that doesnt work lol.

I am looking at purchasing these as an upgrade for my existing system,

2900XT 512mb
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-149-SP

Thermaltake lanbox case
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-051-TT

Abit Fatal1ty mobo
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-125-AB

OCZ StealthXStream 600w Silent
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-023-OC

And X-fi music + surround headphones :P

My current setup = crappy ASRock mobo thing, E6300 core 2 duo, 2x1gb DDR2 Corsair value 533mhz RAM, PCI-e X1950pro 512mb, old creative audigy thing.

My main concerns are the GFX card being able to fit in the case, or any conflicting aspects of the mobo. (like memory slots in the way of the graphics card or something stupid) I cant seem to find much info regarding this on the net. I assume the power supply is adequate.
I'd like the case to be portable like the lanbox so I can take my PC to uni easily etc.

I figure the mobo will be ok after looking at it... and realising that it is being marketed as a gaming mobo :D
Will be going to italy tomorrow til monday... if no one has spotted any errors or anything ill hit the order button as soon as I get back.

I see what you mean.

That picture maybe deceptive, and they kept the cooler low to allow longer cards.

Looks like its getting the go ahead. :P
I have decided that the GTS will be fine for me (as opposed to GTX), as I will only be running at 1280x1024.
But is the 640mb version worth it over the 320mb? My current 1950 is 512mb... :\

640Mb version is also a good choice if you are considering going to 20 or 22 inch screen in the future :)

I think my CPU cooler may be a problem, its an arctic 7 cooler.
Any chance of fitting this in the lanbox!

D:

..if not Ill need a decent air cooler thats not too expensive.
dammit.

hiper type r's are known for blowing up, go for a corsair 520w

not sure about the cooler/gfx card fitting in the case

get a g33 motherboard like the Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R, should be better than the abit fatal1ty.

I have just seen a review of the HD 2900XT recommending a min 550W PSU, should I get a more powerful PSU than the 520W corsair or would it run fine anyway?

I am looking into getting a sapphire HD 2900XT instead of a GTS thanks to the aquisition of a 2nd hand X-fi music, hence raising my budget slightly.

Alternatively, how would you go about upgrading a system like mine with a budget of £500 from OcUK?
Current Specs:

E6300 Core 2 duo
ASrock rubbish thing mobo :P
2x1 gb DDR2 533mhz Corsair Value RAM
*GFX card sold* (previously x1950pro 512mb)
X-fi Music

*Going to purchase Lanbox case for approx £70*
Leaving £430 for upgrades.
Go crazy

My only requirements are the PC being mATX and in a portable case.

edit: is the 8800GTS infact faster than the 2900??? gah?? D:
I will be running all games at a resolution of 1280x1024.
