I went with the UD5 because Asus support was absolutely rubbish when I had problems with my last board. Also only the UD5 has an mSATA slot which I am going to try out. Can't help any more than that though.

I see. I really hate that Intel are waiting so long after the board releases to release the IB D: means it's going to be a little guessing on what motherboard will work best but I suppose at the end of the day all the motherboards should in theory "work" the same way. Just with different features correct?

Kinda glad Ive got 10 days until I get money :p and might even hold off after that. But so far Im taking into account that that is two for Gigabyte.

True dat. The case has Red LED's on the front fans hence why red would go quite nicely. But I think only the RAM would be red anyway. Since Im quite a Nvidia graphics kinda person :p

I would hold out until you start to see reviews with Ivy Bridge and Z77 (I assume your going to be buying IB) but given Gigabyte and Asus record over the last 6 years you can't really go wrong with any of those.

If it were me though I would look to get the Gigabyte simple because of Asus doesn't have the best rep for product support and customer service and Gigabyte is often praised for it's efforts but I would wait for the reviews to come out just in case there's a problem with early batches.
