Can someone look at my timings (Ballistix, DS3P)?

I want to set my Ballistix timings to what they are supposed to handle (3-3-3-12 @ 667), instead of what they are now on auto.

I have a DS3P board, an E4300 and 2gb of PC5300 Ballistix.

At the moment all I want is to get everything running at default, no overclocking.

Given that my RAM is running faster than my fsb (400:667), should I drop the RAM speed to match the CPU to allow 1:1 or leave it at 3:5?
If I did this what value for "System Memory Multiplier" should I set?

Is a Command Rate of 2T the correct timing for Ballistix?

Is the timings table correct? Shouldn't a frequency of 333MHz be at 3-3-3-12?

Thanks

if you put the divider at 1:1 your going to be stupidly underclocking your memory. Its going to be running at 400mhz instead of 667.

the only other divider apart from the 3:5 is 1:2 which is DDR2 800

which is 200 fsb to 400 memory. But that is going to be overclocking your memory significantly so may not be for you.

In terms of memory timings, your correct. By leaving it to SPD, your memory has decided to run at 5 - 3 - 3 - 15. Auto is not automatically best, you need to force the timings your memory is capable of.

It's at 3-3-3-15 now on 333MHz.

What clock would you get with with the RAM running 400?

Try: 400 (1:1) 4-4-4-12 with +0.4v.
It would be 9*400 = 3.6GHz :O

Where would I apply the +0.4v increase? To my RAM? I don't fancy running it at 2.6v!

Yes I found that out yesterday when IE/FF crashed and I got BSOD every time I did anything. I wasn't sure what the BIOS meant when it said the RAM was at default value, either 1.8v DDRII or if it knew the Ballistix defaulted to 2.2v
