Can yoiu truly spot a Scam? Test yourself.

Fifty or sixty bottles worth from what I recall. That was very late 70's or early 80's just before I moved up to Saffron Walden. This guy was always at it. No matter where he worked he was always pulling something and seemed to move jobs often without any trouble. Bit of a likable rogue. In reality he was actually quite a clever chap when you got talking to him but somehow seemed to have drifted into dodgy dealing. If it had been thirty years earlier then there's no doubt that he would have been the chap to know during war rationing.....;):D

I didn't move back to the same area after I returned from S.Walden so I've no idea if he ever got caught pulling one of his tricks.
 
Business Rates Scam

This is a widespread scam, and you obviously have a knowledge of what these guys are getting up to. Unfortunately, there is an iceberg of companies that have been ripped off. Most of them have filed the scam, and do not even realise they have been scammed.

Best thing is to rig up a camera, show it to trading standards, you tube it, and complain to the Police.

They usually want you to shut up, so will pay you off quickly if they think that is going to be the end of it. For every victim that complains, 75 don't!
