Is the case big enough for the gfx card?

Is there anything that could be improved in the way of keeping it quieter?

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I am re-using old hard drives until the SSD's get a bit cheaper.

Looks fine, I would change the case to an Antec 200 or 300 though

Don't really have a budget, could spend an extra £100 it it would mean a significant performance boost / much quieter system.

I'd go for an antec 300 and change the PSU to an Antec 750W TruePower Modular, would allow you to put in a second 5850 if you chose in future and those OCZ PSUs get a few negative reviews.

I'd also read up a few monitor reviews before making your choice.

Yeah I have an antec 300 absolute quality and I don't plan to change it for a very long time

I've looked at monitor reviews and no-one seems to have a bad word to say about the dell, happy to consider other monitors, but considering i sit directly in front about 3 feet away i doubt i need all the fancy viewing angles malarky.

I'll go with an antec 300 case and the antec psu, any other way to quieten down the sucker? fans on the case maybe? (guessing now!)
