As per the title.

Am looking at going blu-ray but don't have a lot of space. Was thinking of a nettop or SFF system that would ideally fasten to the back of my 40" Sony LCD that has a blu-ray drive in it.

Its possible but you might need to get something mid range like the Intel Atom. I had a Intel Dual core Duo @ 2.75 with an HDMI Gigabyte Motherboard and it wouldn't hack the video rendering. Once i put in a 4350 + graphics card it make smooth play back.

No Blu-ray but otherwise does exactly what you want:

Otherwise I thought there were more, but guess you would have to mod a case to fit the bracket. Most net tops are pretty light and as long as you get teh dual core atom 330 with nvidia ION it will happily do 1080p playback and be reasonably useful for browsing and things.

I warn you it can be a little laggy when you make it do some hard work (Treating it like a intel core 2 etc is not wise and only lead to disappointment) and flash is not great due to no hardware acceleration either yet.

It does basic browsing, email and small server things very well though.

If you are happy to change it after you buy one you could get this which would probably be better:

Then fit one of these:

Enjoy!

//edit: More info on these types of things can be found in the SFF sub forum.
