can you guys suggest me a cheap tripod for my s5500?

looking to spend no more than £70 on it. Ive seen the velbon ultra maxi and ultra luxi'-f's and they look great, but can i get anything as good as those cheaper?

I bought a "shops own brand" one in my local chain store camera shop, and its wonky :/ The top with all the hinging and stuff is built poorly so that where the camera rests is at an angle, so i have to leave one leg slightly shorter than the others...

I'd spend more to get a reputable named brand next time, thats for sure! I eagerly await some suggestions here

TBH you can't go much wrong with one of the Manfrotto "Digi" series of tripods with built in heads. I have a Manfrotto 718B, which weighs in at 1.4KG, and can handle 2.5kg. ~ £65

Edit -- Do however see my post about the leg locking clamp on my tripod failing. Wouldn't recommend one of those now. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17659019
