Nah both are fully synth rated ll04 for my bmw e46

As they're both LL04 and if your car needs that, and the grades are correct for your car, it'll be fine. You're just blending the two grades to create a 5W '35'.

My 320D can run on 5W30 or 5W40 LL04, in which case I'd have no issues using a mix if that's all I could get. I run 5W40 due to higher miles (150k) to give the engine a bit more protection.
