I wouldn't mind sorting out my TFT calibration once and for all (still not happy with it!) but don't fancy buying hardware calibration just to use it once or twice. So, if I could rent one that would be perfect. Anyone know of anywhere?

I've never heard of anywhere that'll do it - also, shops seem to exempt calibration tools from their return policy, unless it's actually faulty because people would just buy them, calibrate them once and take them back.
To be honest, they say you should calibrate about every month or two as apparently the monitor colours can drift. i've certainly used mine a good number of times since I bought it back at the tail end of last year. It's certainly paid for itself as my monitor is quite far out on the default profile and now it matches my prints perfectly
