my system is so old it the website failed to work :(

i ran dxdiag to remember what i have (its so old i forgot what speed my cpu is at);
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) , MMX, 3DNow, ~1.3GHz
Memory: 2048MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600
Display Memory: 128.0 MB

as you can see, i only meet 2 of the crysis minimums :( OS and Mem. Its a shame my system can no longer run these new games comming out, its been faithfull to me for many years.

to keep up unfortunately you have to pay the price, usually once every 1-2 years.
 
this is sooo dodgy my os gets me 3 green bars out of the 6 yet guy above has same and he 5 out of 6.

oh and my 1950pro gets 5 from 6 :D


just realised there is a minimum and reconemnded tab dooooh lol

well my pc has lasted me great up untill now, more the 3 years, it managed oblivion ok, but bioshock and crysis are the first games that are simply beyond my system.

oh well, at least ive got £1500 for a new rig, im just waiting on the 45nm cpus from intel, and the 9 series cards from nvidea.

agreed. the ratings are absolute ****, i mean you dont gain all the bars for having XP SP2 which obviously means that its looking for Vista just because of DX10, which is ******** because last time i used Vista for gaming it sucked :o

if only they were smart enough to bring it out on a more used OS instead of one that still needs a LOT of work.

8800GTS 320mb fails recommended. I would take these tests with a bucket of salt. All the 8800's should handle Crysis no sweat.
