Can you still install a Full Vista Install from the New Vista Upgrade CD's?

ARGH! No wonder so many people pirate the software with the amount of hoops you have to jump through with the paid version!

So Because MS actually want to make sure you're entitled to actually purchase and use an upgrade and aren't just trying to save money if you aren't it is their fault everyone pirates their software.

the problem is that with previous windows versions you could clean install upgrade versions from scratch and just supply your previous windows disk to verify you are entitled to use the upgrade.

but now microsoft want everybody to install their old os first and then install vista on top which people are rightly not too happy with. doing an in place upgrade of windows is never a good idea.

Well it's part of the license agreement you buy and if the above workaround still works seems to add just a few more minutes to the install time - doesn't it?
