Can you Tri sli in XP or is it vista only?

Hi, i am using sli and want to know if i can use a 3rd card in tri sli on xp due to using triplehead. As the resolution drops in vista so dont want to use it.

Multi Montior SLi can only be done in Vista.

Btw your sigs to big, only 4x lines of text are allowed.

EDIT: Think i got confused, Triplehead spans a single game across the extra monitors doesn't it, in which case i guess an extra card in Tri-SLi should be fine then, if your already running 2x without a prob.

EDIT2: Just discovered it won't work in XP apparently, as XP can only handle 2 GPU's, so its Vista for Tri im afraid, which doesn't work for you.

May be worth looking into wether Win7 can do it though.

Yeah it looks like i may have to, thanks for your help i could use vista as i say but TH2GO doesnt yet support 5050x1050 like XP

Yes it does. TH2GO digital supports up to three 1680*1050 monitors, or 5040*1050, in both XP and Vista. But, like loadsamoney says, XP does not support 3 GPU's, so if you want to go that way, you'll need Vista.

Please, please, PLEASE change the colour of your sig, It's headache inducing! *winces*

Also, windows XP doesn't support more than 2 AFR devices, so while it might support 3GPUs as bog standard display devices, you woudln't be able to use all 3 to accelerate/render games.

EDIT. Oh, that doesn't seem to be your sig, were you just trying to list your hardware? If not, you've done your sig wrong, and it's two lines too much!
