can you u use patriot and corsair together?

Hi was wondering if you could put 4gb of corsair and 4gb of patriot ram on the same motherboard and have your pc runnin 8gb???

Theoretically yes as long as you keep the sets in their respective DIMM slots. Which two kits were you looking at combining? Just to check that there won't be any issues.

I dont see it being any problem, even if the spd is different you can manually select them in bios so there forced to run same

theoretically being the optimum word there. It an be done, but there is a greater chance of one of the sets throwing a hissy fit about the other.

The only way to know for sure is to install them and test. In some (rare) cases, some combinations of memory simply will not run together.
