I know that some of the people who post on here have had lots of issues with NTL before, so i thought i would post on here about cencelling before i go ahead and write a snotty letter :)

Basically i moved into a rented flat in August 2006..

I signed up for 4mbps NTL BB service.. (£25 a month after the 1st 3 months)

However as of Feb 2007 i have moved out of that flat. Now the flat i have moved into is no longer in an NTL area and already has broadband, so i no longer need NTL.

Am i entitled to cancel the account? and if so will i be charged for an early cancellation..

If so, can i not just cancel the Dired Debit? What if the tennant thats moved into my old flat would like to keep NTL the NTL BB can they not take over the bill paying?

Thanks..

Joe

i forgot to say i tried ringing them... infact i have tried about 6 times. I always get put on hold for agggggessss... and i run out of time as i can only ring from work in my lunch break.

The only time i did get through, i was asked to write a letter of cancellation first.
