Canon 550d - worth getting the bundled 18-55mm lens ?

Hi,

Decided to get a Canon 550d very soon. I know it's not as good as the 40d etc etc but would like the HD recording feature. Also I've held the 40d and seems a bit too bulky for my liking.

Anyway I already have the Tamron 17-50mm lens as everyone recommended, so question is do I buy the bundled kit with the 18-55mm lens for around £650 or just buy the body only for around £600 ?

Thanks for all the good advice .. do you think it would make the camera less resellable without a lens
