Hi Guys

Can anyone point me to a canon lens calibration center here in London? Seems like most of them is outside London.

Cheers

Unless they have recently added this service, they don't do calibration.

Lehmanns in stock do for around £30-40 but of course you need to post the lens.

They did it for me recently on a canon 17-55 that I was sure was slightly off. It came back and difference was amazing. I have no idea if this because it was still under warranty, so don't know what they would normally charge.

My 7D and 300mm F4 L IS combo was front focusing. Rudimentary MFA tests showed it around +8 but I wanted it done properly and I took it there to have them calibrated together. Was told it would take a week. It took two weeks and was still out when I picked it up, i.e. +8 was still better than no MFA even after they'd calibrated it. I pointed this out to them but was told it was fine. Cost me £60 (body under warranty, lens not) + VAT. A waste of time and money and I wouldn't use them again for anything.
