Can't change IE homepage

Err, what on earth!?

Just reinstalled XP Pro SP2 from scratch and for some bizarre reason I can't change the homepage in IE6.

It's currently set to the MS redirector link which sends me to the MSN homepage. If I change the link to anything, for example Google, then OK the dialog, if I then go straight back to it the original link is there.

Anyone seen anything like this before?

Do you have Norton AntiVirus installed? Or Microsoft's AntiSpyware?

..If so they have an option to 'protect' your homepage, which also disallows you from changing it!

No NAV but not sure about the Antispyware. Haven't installed it explicitly but perhaps it's crept on during a Windows Update. Will check.
