Can't connect to EA servers? (Fifa 08, 360)

Got FIFA today and any time I try to access a part of the game which could be considered online I get the message 'You must be signed in to Xbox Live and the EA servers in order to access the online features of this title'. I am signed in to Live, have uPNP enabled and all of the Live test works fine.

Am I missing something? I know they use their own servers so do other ports need opening or is there some other issue?

I had the same problem with EA on NHL08, just couldn't connect to the servers.

I sent them a message and they advised that I ensured that my age was correct on my XBL account???? :eek:

Why the hell that would make a difference I don't know but it did seem that i could connect after I had entered my age into my XBL account.

Might be worth a try.

I suppose as a last ditch you could put the 360 in the DMZ on your router?

Found the problem, I needed to assign the Xbox with a public IP address. Silly as Live works but there you go
