Bear said:Not that its any indication of being better but the new asymetrics seem to be pretty expensive compared to the GSD3s. Any idea how these stack up ??
Tim said:I'm sure it is better, but I only need one. It won't match the opposite side basically, will that matter?
Bear said:You really should get a matching pair on the same axle
Tim said:Thought as much, how different are the GS-D2 and GS-D3 treads?
I've got two Bridgestone RE040's in the garage, could put them on the front and have the two F1 GS-D2's on the rear? Wouldn't need to fork out £100 for a new tyre then... unless this isn't a good idea?

Wonder if Kwik Fit will change the tyres round for free![]()
Excellent - definitely keep me updated if you could as the T1-Rs were the tyres i was going to go for before i spotted the goodyears.ajgoodfellow said:Yep
Just had them fitted yesterday to replace my worn out Toyo Proxes T1-Rs on the front so I'll see how they compare!
[TW]Fox said:Absolutely no idea yet, not seen a trustworthy test featuring them.
