Cant get in to XBox Live Market Place

Hello,

I am having a problem accessing the Marketplace on my 360. I have run the connectivity tests, and I can get in to XBox Live. But when I go to Marketplace, it says "Market Place is not available at this time. Please try again later"

I checked all the port settings on my router, and it looks like it allows everything already... I cant find anything else online about this. Has anyone ever seen this issue?

I just want to buy Speedball 2.. why wont MS let me give them even more of my money?

Delete the marketplace data from the system blade.

I was going to reformat the HDD. I brought the console off my mate last week, so its not exactly got a lot on it yet. I assume this will do the same thing?

You might lose some arcade games if you format it, so don't do that.

Yep, the only one you won't be able to redownload is Hexic. Though you'd have to use his profile to download them again.

It comes on the HDD but if you delete it, it's forever gone.

Oh well.. we're waiting on a transfer cable to get the data on his 20gb HDD onto his Elite HDD, so I guess I'll loose it anyway

He'll get it on his elite hdd aswell.

This may have changed since but I deleted Hexic about 6 months ago by accident, phoned MS and they sent me one of those really long activation codes to allow me to re-download it without paying.

Fingers crossed its still the case

We're going to blast the 20Gb drive - he wants the data off it, and according to MS, the transfer process leaves the old drive wiped clean, so I'll have to go and ge everything again anyway.

So try what PiKe said first... that may do the job. I wouldn't recommend you format the HDD before you're tried everything else.

Either way, I reckon MS will give you a nice long code to get Hexic back.

PiKe's suggestion worked. Cheers guys. By the way, I noticed Hexic in the downloads after I cleaned up.
