Hello can anyone help me?

I have a i2500k @ 4.3ghz @ 1.34v
I have a MSI p67A-GD65(B3)

I have just purchased some corsair vengence 2 x 8gb 2400mhz.

CPUzz says it's running dual channel
DRAM frequency 665 and clocks of 9-9-9-24

What do I need to do to gt it to work at it's best speeds?

I tried enabling the XMp profile but then it just wouldn't boot.

Regards and thanks in advance

It's Dual channel so you multiply it by two... in terms of XMP then if it's not working you might need to see what is compatible on your board from the vendor. If some speeds are then fine, manual timings might be your friend.

Also if your OC is done by BLK (ref clock) don't forget that effects the RAM also, unless you are just 100BLK and 42 ratio? Also worth updating the bios... Post the screens from CPUz and the model of RAM exactly.

Enabling XMP in UEFI/BIOS doesn’t take much effort. The process varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, but there exist a few general rules to finding those settings. Simply tap the correct F-key on boot up to enter your UEFI’s configuration menu. From within the UEFI, find your RAM’s settings. You may notice that XMP doesn’t appear – in this case, your RAM may not have an associated XMP profile. In this case your timings might require using either a manual or default setting.
