Can't Rename Folders

I'm having trouble renaming new folders. I create a new folder, click in it to change the name, press enter and get "The File Or Folder Does Not Exist" when it obviously does exist cos I'm there changing its name. I don't get it. Any help?

What os? If its vista and you used a vlite install. there is a fix for it
