Can't save Images in Windows 10

This sounds crazy but I can't save images in Windows 10. Right click, 'save image as', always works in Windows 7 (and every other OS) but Windows 10 saves this blank file instead and then says it can't open it. Am I going completely insane here or what's going on with Windows 10?

malwarebytes stops me doing it, have to disable protection when I need to. might be your av?

Kaspersky is fine on w7, don't see why it would stop you from saving simple jpegs in w10. W10 seemed good and fast at first but there's plenty of problems with it. Windows 7 is still better. Amaxing that windows 10 still doesn't work properly!

Right click, save image as,
Some picture files will save however many do not. It saves a file with no preview that cannot open! Windows 10 is failing at saving jpegs. Astonishing.

Any idas how to fix this? No issues on windows 7 etc.

give us an example of a web page/image that will not save.
.eg. .does my image on win 10 thread work

Is this just with edge have you tried FF ?

Try adding .jpg/.png or whatever to the end of the filename, or you can just drag the image from the browser to the desktop.

Just with ff. Have not used edge.
On hols now, ill try when im back. Its weird that some images save and others do not. Bizarre.
