To help me in my decsion I was just wondering which one you would choose and why?

What models of each are you looking at, there are a fair few different versions of the R33, R34, Evo and Supra.

Also, we need to know more about you, what are you after from the car, how many miles do you do, what kind of roads do you drive, etc etc.

If money wasn't an object I'd say R34 GT-R V-spec II, but that's probably off the list due to "possible R34".

R34 everytime for me, although I have driven none of the above cars.

I see Supras, FTOs and EVOs as extremely good cars with way above average levels of engineering but nothing compares to the presence and character of a well kept R34 GT-R.

I've only ever seen one R34 GT-R in the flesh and everytime it drives past, it gets my full attention until it disappears from view, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Evo VI every time. Dont waste your money on a Supra, lardy and slow unless they are tuned.

TBH, I was slowly being pulled towards the Evo, but the Skyline is still a contender me thinks :p

Also can anybody recommend any good insurance companies? I have tried google and confused.com but all the quotes seemed to be quite expensive @ £2000 + a year.

Try A-plan for insurance, my mate has an R32 GTR and his insurance was around £700 FC, 4NCB and he is 26.

Going for cars such as Skylines you will have to use specialist insurance companies who give better deals.

You should be able to get an R33 GTR in your budget. :)
