Current driver a 92 Escort 1.6 LX, spec is okay (cetnral locking, leccy windows) and i was quite happy with it, untill work let me use the pool car. Its a 406HDI 90 Estate, not the qucikest car in the world but its very comfortable and i'm loving the climate control, car is only a V reg so its worth what £2000-3000? well within my budget. Is there any alternatives worth considering before looking around, i have tried a mondeo (P-reg 1.6lx) and wasn't very impressed but a 2.0 of resonable spec may be better, the only other car that comes to mind is a Xantia?
