Car battery vs powered cooling box??

Ok so im going to a festival in a few months and want to keep food and alcohol nice and cool. Thus i was thinking of a powered cooler:

Was wondering how long the average car battery would last for as i wouldnt be driving for at least one day.

4.5A is pretty heavy current draw.. what Ah rating is your battery?

108Ah per day? That would be the best part of 18 hours on an 80Ah battery I think so you won't be running it overnight? That and I don't think the battery will fully charge with that sort of hammering if you're not driving decent distances.

Thats only peak current draw.

Chill everything before hand in the home refridgerator then if you can wrap the box in a blanket to improve its insulation and you will get a much longer life from the battery whilst keeping the temperature low.

You could get a couple of cheap car batterys and use them to power it.
Also freeze some of the food that you wont be eating for a day or two.

Car fridges useually take 4-6hours to chill down so do that whilst the car is running.

Just get a gas powered chest fridge. no point fooling around.
