car decisions

Seems to me that the OP is not sure what he wants to get, thus, I'd be inclined to get a £1k runabout for the winter, and keep putting a bit by on top.

The spring could be well worth the wait.....

Evo out of that list if you're worried about getting power down in the winter months.

Although quite a few Evo owners do it - its a shame to leave it in the garage for the winter.

As ScoobyDoo said, if traction is a worry then the Evo is for you.

The sensible option would be to get an Impreza. It will be cheaper to run and you'll get more for your money.

To whoever said the s14a at 400bhp is unreliable is very very wrong. Only thing I have had to change out of unreliability was the starter as it broke. Nothing else has ever let me down. If you don't know how to tune a car then yes it will be unreliable but the quality spec the car is built to gives it total reliability. I enjoy tuning the cars n getting the mods built up. I'm only selling because if I keep it I know the next stage I fancy would have been a 2.2 stroker crank kit and another full rebuild cutting up a already good fully forged engine. And sinking another 3k into it that I would not get back.

Subaru do not tempt me I've seen them go wrong to many times. Crank and pistons are crap.

The s15 last night was nice and very clean and 6 speed. Already has some goodies and adding management and a decent turbo as already has a set of 555 injectors and a decent clutch, would have the car moving.

Really can't make my mind up but as of monday I will have no car at all.

Oh and the french nigerian is very real in this case lol, and will be paying in sterling notes going with me to the bank to lodge it.

Maybe you'll get lucky and bag a few of those funky polymer fivers in the process

How come the SX hasn't got NI plates?

I bought the car out of england. When we stick a mainland car in our name here in NI we have the choice of keep the mainland reg, or can get a NI reg for £15 or something silly. I never bother, always leave the cars on england reg.
